AK Games Centre is excited to announce the opening of the Malaysia Nationals Judge Applications!
This is your chance to be part of the Malaysia Nationals team.
The applications will close on Sunday, May 14th, 2023 at 23:59pm.
A selection will be made and communicated by Wednesday, May 17th, 2023.

EVENT INFORMATION
Dates: September 2nd and 3rd 2023
Venue: Bungaraya Hall 1 and 2, Block A First Floor, Setiawalk, Persiaran Wawasan, 47160 Puchong Malaysia.
The Nationals weekend will include events over three days as follows:
- Saturday September 2nd 2023
- Main Event Day 1 – Classic Constructed and Monarch Draft
- Scheduled Side Events
- On Demand Events
- Sunday September 3rd 2023
- Main Event Day 2 – Classic Constructed Top 8
- PTI - Classic Constructed
- Scheduled Events
- On Demand Events
ROLES AND EXPECTATIONS
We are looking for 3 judges (1 Head Judge and 2 Floor Judge)
- Saturday (8:00am to 9:30pm)
- Head Judge
- Floor Judge
- Sunday (8:00am to 9:30pm)

- Floor Judge
The outline of roles, responsibilities, and shift times above is an estimate of our staffing requirements for the event. Please note that these are subject to change, and may be adapted upon our final staff selection for the event. Your actual shift call times will vary by role.
If selected as part of the event staff, you will be expected to work both days. The expected shift length is approximately 10-11 hours with a one-hour lunch break and at least one thirty-minute break.
Judges are expected to arrive on time and in appropriate attire. Predominantly black long pants, or similar, and predominantly black shoes. If you have one or multiple yellow judge shirts, please bring them to the event. Additionally judge shirts can be provided in limited quantities.
STAFF COMPENSATION
The staff outlined below, will receive the following per day worked, based on their role for that day:
- Floor Judge: 2 booster display per day worked + 2 Meals + Drinks
- Head Judge: 2 boster display per day worked + 2 Meals + Drinks
In addition to any of the staff compensation outlined above, Travel Sponsorship is available in limited quantities for applicants. It can be requested in the application process by responding to the travel sponsorship application question. Do note that travel sponsorship is extremely limited.
STAFF RECOGNITION
All staff members who are Certified Level 1 or above with the Judge Program will receive a judge Gift Kit.
Each Judge Gift Kit contains the following:
● 1 Judge Playmat per Staff Member (Head Judge playmat and Floor Judge playmat)*
● 1 Judge Sleeves per Staff Member*
● 1 Assortment Judge Promos per Staff Member*
Head Judge for the event will be presented with an additional playmat sponsored by AK Games Centre
