Event Information
Living Realms is excited to announce United Kingdom Nationals 2023 Judge Applications!
The applications will close on Monday, June 5th at 23:59pm.
We aim to complete selections by Friday, June 9th at 23:59pm
Please ensure you read through the full application before applying for any of the teams.
MAIN EVENT TEAM
ROLES AND EXPECTATIONS
We are looking for 6 judges - One (1) Head Judge, Four (4) Floor Judge, One (1) dedicated Scorekeeper.
- Saturday (8:00am to 9:30pm)
- Sunday (8:00am to 9:30pm)
The outline of roles, responsibilities, and shift times above is an estimate of our staffing requirements for the event. Please note that these are subject to change and may be adapted upon our final staff selection for the event. Your actual shift call times will vary by role.
If selected as part of the main event staff, you will be expected to work both days. The expected shift length is approximately 10-11 hours with a one-hour lunch break and at least one thirty-minute break.
Judges are expected to arrive on time and in appropriate attire. Predominantly long black pants, or similar, and predominantly black shoes. If you have one or multiple yellow judge shirts, please bring them to the event. Additionally, judge shirts can be provided in limited quantities.
STAFF COMPENSATION
The staff outlined below will receive the following per day worked, based on their role for that day:
- Floor Judge: 2 booster displays per day worked.
- £100 - Per day worked.
STAFF RECOGNITION
All staff members who are Certified Level 1 or above with the Judge Program will receive a Judge Gift Kit.
Each Judge Gift Kit contains the following:
● 1 Judge Playmat per Staff Member (Head Judge playmat and Floor Judge playmat)
● 1 Judge Sleeves per Staff Member
● 1 Assortment Judge Promos per Staff Member

We are working hard to provide fair compensation to all the staff in the side event team, PLEASE apply only for the side event team if you understand that we do not have the resources to provide you with a Judge Gift Kit, we at LR will work hard and attempt to find promotional materials to reward your hard work (TBC in the month of June)
