Roles and expectations

The description of roles, responsibilities, and shift lengths are based on a prevision of the needs of the event. They are likely to be adapted according to the circumstances.

Team members are selected for two or three days. Shift length is estimated to 10 to 11 hours, with a one hour lunch break and at least one 30 minutes break.
Judges must be ready to judge at the start of their shift, 1 hour before the first tournament of the day, and in uniform: black pants or similar and black shoes. If you have at least two judge yellow shirts, bring them to the event. Otherwise, a limited quantity of shirts will be provided to you.
Judges and scorekeeper can be assigned to any tournament as needed, as well to be asked to assist with logistics, registrations, and prize distribution.
Standby judges might be activated at any point during the weekend. If that happens, they will stay activated for the whole day, and will receive a full day compensation.

In order to help with a smooth organization of the event, the Head Judge of each day's main event was preselected, and will be the experienced Level 2 Gwen De Schepper.
Other staff member will be offered to head judge some of the other events taking place each day.

Compensation

Standby: 1 Weekend Pass (valid for the Armory, the Battle Hardened, and the Professional Tournament Invitational) OR the compensation corresponding to the number of days activated
Floor Judge (2 days): 2 Displays and 120 €
Floor Judge (3 days): 4 Displays (1 box) and 120 €
Scorekeeper (3 days): 4 Displays (1 box) and 120 €

Staff selected as Standby play by default. To thank them for their flexibility, they receive a Weekend Pass that includes free entry to each day's main event. However, if the event requires, they can instead be activated as Floor Judge, and then receive the compensation corresponding to the number of days activated.
Any payment requires an invoice provided by the staff member.
Staff members who do not provide an invoice may request the same amount in vouchers instead. You can view the store's products at https://www.sodgames.be/ and https://www.cardmarket.com/en/<wbr />FleshAndBlood/Users/SodGames
Lunch will be provided by the organizer.
