PH Judge Conference 2024

It is with honor and pleasure that I welcome you to the very first Flesh and Blood Judge Conference in the Philippines.

OVERVIEW

Please read the information carefully before hitting the apply button. 

Venue slots are limited to 20 persons, so in case we receive more applications than expected, PH judges will be prioritized as attendees. Presenters are welcome from any part of the globe, and will be selected based on their proposed seminars. (Please indicate your seminar plans in your cover letter if you wish to apply as presenter).

We have the following goals for this event:
- Prepare the active and aspiring judges for the upcoming RTN season, Proquests and all other Tier 2 or higher events that are happening in the country this year.
- Judge socials: This will be the first time that most judges will be meeting and interacting with each other in person. Expect activities that will encourage you to talk and share with one another.
- Education: seminars that talk about the basics of judging and tournament logistics; interactive activities to test and hone game rule knowledge and common questions and interations
- Discuss about how judges can help to further grow the FAB community in the country.

Food and Drinks
- Lunch and snacks will be provided for free.

Requirements and Foil Support:

- This conference has judge foil support. Attendees will get 1 judge pack each, and additional 2 packs will be provided to presenters.
- All Flesh and Blood certified judges can apply to attend (L0 or higher)
- Must be L1 or higher to receive any promo gifts.
- You need to physically attend all seminars / workshops to be eligible for attendee foil support.

Schedule:
- Please be at the venue by 10:30 AM as we will start at exactly 11 AM.
- Breakdown of schedule to follow once the list of seminars have been finalized.
- We will have roughly 5 seminars or workshops. There will be a late lunch break at around 2PM.

Instructions

We highly encourage all applicants to write a good cover letter. Introduce yourself, tell us your reason for attending the conference and tell us about what you wish to learn or take away from the conference.
Application deadline is January 28th, anywhere in the world. But if you're planning to present, I highly encourage you to submit your application as early as possible. 
We'll send out early selections for presenters. The rest of the selections will be published 7 days after the application deadline.
