Battle Hardened (World Tour) Jakarta 2025

We’re excited to announce the opening of our Battle Hardened (World Tour Jakarta 2025) Judge Applications!
This is your chance to be part of the team in the role of a Judge or Scorekeeper. A selection will be made and communicated when the application closes. Please ensure you read through the full application before applying.

The weekend will include events over several days as follows: 
Saturday 5 April 2025 :
● Battle Hardened (Classic Constructed)
● Side Event (Commoner)

Sunday 6 April 2025 :
● Pro Quest+ (Blitz)
● Side Event (HNT Booster Draft)
 
ROLES AND EXPECTATIONS 
We are looking for judges and a scorekeeper to help with the event in the following roles. Please note that the number of personnel required on standby may change based on number of Swiss Round in the Main Event:

● Saturday 5 April 2025 (All day) – Shift lengths 11-12 hours 
○ 1 Head Judge (must have hosted BH or above event) 
○ 4 Floor Judge
○ 1 Scorekeeper
Judges may be assigned as Team Lead, please let us know if you’re willing to.
Additionally, Judges may be assigned to the side event.

● Sunday 6 April 2025 (All day) – Shift lengths 6-7 hours 
○ 1 Head Judge 
○ 4 Floor Judge 
○ 1 Scorekeeper 
Judges may be assigned as Team Lead, please let us know if you’re willing to.
Additionally, Judges may be assigned to the side event.

The outline of roles, responsibilities, and shift times above is an estimate of our staffing requirements for the event. Please note that these are subject to change, and may be adapted upon our final staff selection for the event. Your actual shift call times will vary by role.
The expected shift length is approximately 11-12 hours on Saturday and 6-7 hours on Sunday with a one-hour lunch break and at least one thirty-minute break.
Judges are expected to arrive on time and in appropriate attire. Predominantly black pants, or similar, and predominantly black shoes. If you have one or multiple yellow judge shirts, please bring them to the event. Additionally judge shirts can be provided in limited quantities.

QUALITIES EXPECTED

● Judges must be familiar with providing accurate rulings in a timely fashion
● Judges need to be familiar with tournament logistics for constructed events as per Tournament Rules and Policy benefitting of this event.
● Judges will need to be familiar with the latest updates as of THE HUNTED (HNT) updates on Comprehensive Rules and Procedure & Penalty Guide.
● The Head Judge and Team Leads is expected to be an expert in rules and policy, also expected to mentoring the Floor Judges on staff.
● Speaking Bahasa Indonesia and English is preferable, and ability to speak other languages would be a plus.

COMPENSATION & APPRECIATION

The staff outlined below, will receive the following per day worked, based on their role for that day:

● Head Judge: Minimum Level 2 Certification required
Head Judge will receive compensation money based on number of Swiss Round in the Main Event
○ If 7 round of swiss during BH, compensation will be IDR 2,000,000 on Saturday and IDR 1,200,000 on Sunday
○ If 6 round of swiss during BH, compensation will be IDR 1,500,000 on Saturday and IDR 900,000 on Sunday
○ Travel/Accomodation sponsorships will be provided with limited availability. 

● Floor Judge: Floor Judge will receive compensation money based on number of Swiss Round in the Main Event
○ If 7 round of swiss during BH, compensation will be IDR 1,000,000 on Saturday and IDR 600,000 on Sunday
○ If 6 round of swiss during BH, compensation will be IDR 750,000 on Saturday and IDR 450,000 on Sunday
○ Travel/Accomodation sponsorships will be provided with limited availability. 

● Scorekeeper: Scorekeeper will receive compensation money based on number of Swiss Round in the Main Event
○ If 7 round of swiss during BH, compensation will be IDR 1,000,000 on Saturday and IDR 600,000 on Sunday
○ If 6 round of swiss during BH, compensation will be IDR 750,000 on Saturday and IDR 450,000 on Sunday
○ Travel/Accomodation sponsorships will be provided with limited availability. 
 
STAFF RECOGNITION 
● All level 1 judges and above working both days will receive a selection of promotional items for the event. These promotional gifts are an expression of appreciation for the contributions from working this event (subject to change by LSS): 1x Judge Pack, 1x Judge Playmat, 1x Judge Sleeve.
● Committee & Judge appreciation dinner may be scheduled on Sunday 6 April evening (TBA).
