Event Information

MinMaxGames will host the Battle Hardened in Chicago (Downers Grove) on September 6th and 7th, 2025. Below, you will find all the information you’ll need to apply. Please note that your Event History on JudgeHub should indicate all Tier 2 or higher events you've worked on in the past.

Applications for this event close at the end of the day on June 24th, 2025. Acceptances will be provided by the end of the day on June 26th, 2025.

We will use the MinMaxGames Event Discord to distribute information and coordinate before the event.

This event will be held at the Doubletree Suites by Hilton Hotel & Conference Center Chicago/Downers Grove 2111 Butterfield Road Downers Grove, IL 60515

We are looking for judges who are available to work on both days or Saturdays only. Shifts are approximately ten hours in length with a 1-hour lunch break.

Approximate shift times:

  • Saturday – 8:30 am – 7:00 pm
    • Note that one judge will start closer to 10:00 am-10:30 am to account for kicking off and overseeing the Super Armory event on Saturday, 9/06/25 after the Swiss rounds of the Battle Hardened have been completed.
  • Sunday – 8:30 am – 6:30 pm

Judges will receive $300 per day worked. Reimbursement is not available for travel and/or hotel expenses.

Judges should arrive in black professional attire and comfortable black shoes. MinMaxGames will provide red judge staff baseball-style jerseys to be returned at the end of the event.
