The following describes the process for applying to the 2026 waves of this new way of applying.

WHAT ARE ADVANCED APPLICATIONS?
Advanced Calling+ Applications are a new way to get staffed earlier for Flesh and Blood weekends with a Calling or higher event. This is designed to give Judges an earlier opportunity to secure some of their shows, improving the planability of their year and trip planning.
Most positions are filled through the standard application process.
This process applies to all tournament organizers and their respective staffing managers for all shows in the respective season. It is those organizers who will contract staff and facilitate payment for those over the methods generally used by that organizer, as with all other staff.

Advanced Calling Applications - Growth and Community - starting later in 2026!
Advanced Calling Applications - Experienced
This line of application is intended for staff who have already worked several shows and bring a higher level of experience. Those staff members already have familiarity with the Flesh and Blood Callings processes (and potentially the ones above) and can serve as experienced foundations for the event. These applications can be used in most positions offered in public event staffing.
Requirements for wave one (Shanghai and Yokohama)
- Have been staffed at least 5+ Calling weekends
Or
- Have been staffed at least 2+ Calling weekends, and you speak Mandarin (special requirement due to the first show in mainland China
Advanced Calling Applications - Growth and Community Starting later in 2026!
This line of applications is intended for staff who want to apply out of their region and learn and grow at remote shows. These application slots are primarily for Floor Judge, Judge Lead, and Scheduled Event Assistant positions.
COMPENSATION
The staff listed below will receive the following per day, based on their role for that day.
In addition to the below, every staff member will receive one display box of the current product for the weekend, regardless of the days.

Travel and accommodation needs to be arranged and paid by each staff member on their own, independently of the organizer.
Payment details
Payments are handled directly by each tournament organizer through their standard payment methods. Any relevant paperwork will be completed by you and the respective organizer.
