Event Information

We are excited to announce the opening of the Festival International des Jeux Learn to Play Judge applications! This is your chance to be part of the team in the role of a team member, helping to teach new players Flesh and Blood in a casual and easy-going way.

The applications will close on Monday, 22 December 2025, 23:59 (anywhere in the world).
 A selection will be made and communicated by Monday 5 January.

Venue: Palais des Festivals et des Congrès, Cannes, France

Learn to Play will be the main activity of the weekend.
There may be a few selected evening scheduled events.

ROLES AND EXPECTATIONS

We are looking for judges to help teach interested attendees Flesh and Blood in a casual and relaxed way.
This comes with the requirement of being able to teach the game to attendees with a variety of backgrounds.

Due to of this, we require the new Learn to Play - Basic certification (read up here on details).
Speaking French is mandatory for this show.

Additionally, there may be various small miscellaneous tasks to help keep the play area in shape.

The expected shift length is approximately 10–11 hours with several break blocks, but at least 60 minutes and an additional 30 minutes break.
The start time is 9:30 am each day. Please be aware that you need to be available for the full time each day. 

Staff will receive a weekend badge for Festival International des Jeux.

Judges are expected to arrive on time and in appropriate attire.
Shirts will be provided at the event.

Setup
We are also looking for a limited number of staff to help set up on Thursday. If you are interested, please indicate it in the application questions. 
You need to be available starting at 12:00. Payment is the same as below, but no bed is provided from the night before.

STAFF COMPENSATION AND ACCOMMODATION

Staff compensation per day is 300 Euro plus as well as one box of current product, independent of days worked.
Additionally, you will have a bed provided from Thursday to Monday, when staffed all weekend. (There is no parking)

STAFF RECOGNITION

All staff members, regardless of the number of days worked and their role, will receive a selection of promotional items for the event. This promotional gift is an expression of appreciation for the contributions from all staff working this event. These items should not be considered as part of, or in lieu of, your staff compensation for the event. Additionally, all staff members who are Certified Level 1 or above with the Judge Program will receive a selection of judge-specific promotional items.

A staff celebration, with food, drinks, and booster drafts, will happen during the event weekend. The exact details of the staff celebration will be confirmed and communicated closer to the event.
