Event Information

Head Judge - Responsible for running the event from the start to the end. Provide an after event review. Mentoring skills is a plus.

Judges are expected to arrive on time (30mins before event start time) and in appropriate attire. Dark colored pants, covered shoes and FAB Judge Shirt. 

Indicate on your cover letter if you do not have the judge shirt. 

Format: Swiss Rounds CC followed up top 8.

  • Head Judge - Judge Pack + Judge Playmat+ Meal/s

Qualities expected:

  • Judges must be familiar with providing accurate rulings in a timely fashion
  • Judges need to be familiar with tournament logistics for limited events as per Tournament Rules and Policy benefitting of this tier 2 event.
  • Judges will need to be familiar with the latest updates on Comprehensive Rules and Procedure & Penalty Guide.
  • The Head Judge is expected to be an expert in rules and policy.
