Ruika is proud to announce that recruitment is now open for judges for the Flesh and Blood National Championship 2026 – Hong Kong S.A.R.!

We are looking for a dedicated and professional judge team to support this 96-player event.

We welcome all qualified judges to apply!
Application deadline: May 15, 2026. Selected candidates will be notified by May 25, 2026.

Please read all the information below carefully before submitting your application.

Event Information

·       Dates: June 27–28, 2026 (Saturday & Sunday)

·       Venue: Room 1705-6, LU Plaza, 2 Wing Yip Street, Kwun Tong, Kowloon East, Hong Kong

Events taking place over the weekend:

·       National Championship

·       World Championship Qualifier

·       Scheduled Side Events

Roles Available

·       Head Judge – 1 (L2 required)
Responsible for final rulings, pre-event briefing, handling appeals, and liaising with the TO Team.

·       Floor Judge – 3 (L1+ required)
Responsible for floor coverage, issuing penalties, assisting with Booster Draft rounds, and answering player questions.

·       Scorekeeper – 1 (L1+ or experienced)
Responsible for pairings and standings using GEM, handling drops and replays.

All roles require working both days (Saturday and Sunday).

Schedule

·       Saturday, June 27: approx. 08:00 – 22:00

·       Sunday, June 28: approx. 08:00 – 20:00

Shift length is approximately 10–11 hours per day, including a one-hour lunch break and at least one 30-minute break.

Please note: if you are unable to work the full timeframe above, please indicate this in your application. It may affect your chance of being selected.

Your actual shift call time will vary by role and will be communicated in advance. You are expected to arrive on time, in uniform, and ready for the pre-shift briefing.

·       Judge shirts are available upon request. Please indicate your size when applying

Application Requirements

·       Valid GEM ID

·       Experience judging at Competitive REL events (please provide details in your cover letter)

·       For Head Judge applicants: L2 certification and prior Head Judge experience at large events

Attire

·       Predominantly black pants (or similar) and black shoes

·       If you have one or more yellow judge shirts, please bring them

·       Judge shirts can be provided in limited quantities – please indicate if needed

·       Your uniform must be covered when you are off shift (except in the judge break room)

·       Please avoid clothing that directly displays other TCG brands or IP

Staff Communication

All staff members are expected to regularly check the staff communication channel (e.g., WeChat group) for updates, schedules, and role-specific information. Use of the designated communication platform is mandatory.

Data Confidentiality

You may not share or use any data you access as a staff member for any non-event-related purpose without explicit permission from the organizer. This includes but is not limited to: decklists, metagame data, and other sensitive information.
