Welcome to the Georegion Conference Oceania - Gold Coast event page!
We are delighted to invite you to this year's Oceania version of the Georegion event series.
Join us in one of Australia's prime Tourism destinations!
What is a georegion conference?
A georegion conference is a special type of conference meant to bring the community of the georegion (and beyond) together to learn and grow in a weekend of seminars, workshops but also good food, activities and more! We are planning to run several around the world, this one here is for the Oceania 2026 version.
The core days and time are Saturday 16. January 2027 (11:00 start - 18:00 end), as well as 17 January 2027 (11:00 start to 16:00 latest end).
In addition to the seminars and workshops, we will have optional social and tourist activities, such as (optional) group dinners on Friday and Sunday nights. Saturday night is also planned to have a FaB tournament at the store
Attending the conference itself is free of charge. Drinks and Snacks are provided throughout the day with a dinner provided on the Saturday Night during the Super Armory. Saturday lunch will be provided for free to all attendees!
This will be a great opportunity for you to meet your regions Judge Community Representatives and time can be taken for private 1 on 1s to discuss your pathway through the program.
Accommodation and travel need to be booked and paid for by you.
Do I need to be an Oceanic Judge to attend?
No! Any travelling judges who are interested in an Australian holiday are welcome to attend.

How to get there?
Helensvale Station is close to the store and can be accessed by a direct train from Brisbane Airport. The Gold Coast G-Link Tram also goes directly to Helensvale station however does not go all the way to Gold Coast Airport, but there is a bus route that goes the short distance to a tram stop.
Aside from the Brisbane Airport private stations, all busses, trams and trains within Queensland cost 50c per ride - flat rate. Yep, thats right. Cents. So I recommend using them wherever possible !
From Helensvale station it is a short 8 min uber/taxi or 15 min bus ride to the store.

Accomodation
Due to the proximity to the big 4 theme packs, the Helensvale and Oxenford region has plenty of airbnbs or private lodgings on sites like booking.com -- otherwise Surfers Paradise has a myraid of hotels available and the G-Link tram goes straight from Helensvale to Surfers Paradise. Applications will be processed regularly
Each attendee will receive two Judge boosters of the current season, as well as one Judge booster from season one!
Additionally, any L2 judge will receive an extra (random) booster pack!
